  6.   - a complete rewrite of the code.
  7.   - several bug fixes; one of them causing the program
  8.     to still mess up the count_file and reset some of the 
  9.     counters. Now the problem is really fixed.
  10.   - new arguments can be given to the program:
  11.      # increase=number
  12.      # show=NO
  13.      # debug=ON
  14.     Check the README and/or FAQ for usage of these arguments.

  22.   Mainly a bug fix:
  23.   - conditional #define RAND_MAX added
  24.   - #include <fcntl.h> added
  25.   - in function 'link_search' free-statements corrected.
  26.   - if version 1.0 of the counter program was used very heavily,
  27.     occasionally two occurences of the program were updating the 
  28.     count_file at the same time resulting in strange behaviour.
  29.     This should be fixed now by making sure that the program is
  30.     not interrupted during the updating.
